Guro Haugli
Biography
Guro Haugli is a Norwegian conductor educated at the University of Stavanger and Musikene, Spain. In December 2024 she completed her tenure as assistant conductor of the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra. As assistant, she regularly worked with chief conductor Andris Poga and visiting conductors, as well as conducting her own projects. Haugli was a member of the Norwegian Conductor’s program Dirigentforum from 2018-2022. In May 2021, she conducted at the concert Let’s Play with Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra during Bergen International Festival. The concert resulted in a music-documentary featuring her portrait, which aired on the Norwegian national broadcasting channel NRK Hovedscenen.
